ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A2 and A3 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.43 of 2016 of Vetapalem Police Station, Prakasham District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354(D), 506 r/w 34 IPC and under Section 66 E of IT Act, against them.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that prior to 07.04.2016, A1 with the help of A2 and A3 forced the de facto complainant to love and marry him despite her clear disinterest and also threatened her with dire consequences over phone and face book messages. They also uploaded graphic photos of the de facto complainant in face book by insulting her modesty. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against A1 to A3.

3. As per the complaint, serious allegations are made against the accused. Truth or otherwise of the allegations made in the complaint can be ascertained by the investigating agency during the course of investigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the petitioners/A2 and A3 are at liberty to seek appropriate remedy for anticipatory bail before the appropriate forum.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed. ________________ RAJA ELANGO, J 19th April, 2016 sj
