THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.19908 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader of Civil Supplies. Suspension pending enquiry order dated 14.06.2016 is challenged before this Court. Suspension is rendered on the ground that the petitioner has been distributing the scheduled commodities with less weighments.

As the allegations leveled against the petitioner are serious in nature, the respondent-authorities are bound to conduct an enquiry against the petitioner by taking into consideration the explanation submitted by the petitioner.

However, considering the fact that the suspension order has been made on 14.06.2016, the respondent authorities are directed to complete the enquiry and pass appropriate final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order duly affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. If enquiry is not completed by the respondents within six weeks, the suspension order passed by the 2nd respondent stands suspended till passing of orders after completion of enquiry by the 2nd respondent. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall also stand closed.
