Emeralds Advance Institute Of Management Studies, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 17329 of 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Higher Education and Sri C.Sudesh Anand, learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent.
The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:
"Issue writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not taking any action pursuant to the representation dated 11.02.2016 even after lapse of four months, as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of principles of natural justice; and consequently to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 11.02.2016 forthwith."
The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation dated 11.02.2016 requesting to allow them to pay the Registration fee and to submit the documents to AFRC is not acted upon by the respondent authorities.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to dispose of the representation dated 11.02.2016, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, if the same is still pending consideration. There shall be no order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
