SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.2582 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is accused No.6, in Crime No.112 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Paderu Police Station, Visakhapatnam District. The offence alleged is under Section 8(c) R/w.20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record. 3.

The case of the prosecution is that, accused Nos.1 to 3 procured the ganza through accused No.4, and accused No.4 in turn procured the said ganza from accused Nos.5 and 6.

Hence, in the light of the above facts, the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, that the petitioner was not at the spot, cannot be considered for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.

Subject to the above, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand dismissed.
