THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI CONTEMPT CASE No.874 of 2015 ORDER:

This is a petition for contempt, under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, by the petitioners -- plaintiffs requesting to punish the respondents for violating the mandatory directions issued by this Court in S.A.No.1075 of 2006 and grant other allied reliefs as stated in the petition. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the Hon'ble Supreme Court passed orders in Civil Appeal No.291 of 2015 as per the settlement arrived at between the parties and that in the said circumstances, the contempt petition may be closed giving liberty to the petitioners to approach the trial court and file a petition for execution, in case there is any violation of the terms of settlement or the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Recording the submissions of the learned Senior Counsel to the above effect, the Contempt Case is closed giving liberty to the petitioners to approach the Court of Execution, if the law permits, in case of violation of the terms of the settlement or the orders of the Honourable Supreme Court of India passed in Civil Appeal No.291 of 2015.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Contempt Case shall stand closed. No costs.
