This writ petition is filed with the following prayer: ".....to issue a writ, order or direction or more so one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the Respondents herein in not disposing of the renewal application dt.30-11-2018 filed by the petitioner before the 3rd respondent herein as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the Respondent herein to dispose of the same within a fixed period of time, in the interest of law and justice." Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions, wherein it is stated that application of the petitioner has been considered and rejected by the 2nd respondent vide order No.HN/A2/Arms/6672/201819, dated 25-05-2019. Since the grievance of the petitioner stood redressed, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated 25-05-2019 in accordance with law. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
