HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.22139 OF 2011 ORDER:

The petitioners seek writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in deducting the crop insurance premium from the crop loans of the petitioners released and to be released to the petitioners at the rate of 1% to 12% towards crop insurance premium in the Kharif and Rabi seasons 2011-2012 as illegal, arbitrary, violative of provisions of the Constitution of India, Contract Act and declare the same as optional.

When the matter is called, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the subject matter in the writ petition has become infructuous since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is pertaining to the crop period for the years 2011-2012, which was over long back. 3.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
