Pursuant to the order, dated 24.04.2019, of this Court, respondent No.4/ Tahsildar, Marriguda Mandal, Nalgonda District, is present in the Court today.

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent No.4 in not mutating the names of the petitioners in the revenue records and not issuing pattadar pass books in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.3-00 guntas in Survey No.61/ R, situated at Namapuram Village, Marriguda Mandal, Nalgonda District, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to direct respondent No.4 to mutate the names of the petitioners in the revenue records and issue pattadar pass books to them in respect of the subject land.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for the respondents, and perused the record.

The case of the petitioners is that they are the owners and possessors of land admeasuring Ac.3-00 guntas in Survey No.61/ R, situated at Namapuram Village, Marriguda Mandal, Nalgonda District, having succeeded the same after the demise of father of petitioner Nos.1 to 3 and 5, by name Papaiah. Petitioner No.4 is the daughter-in-law of late Papaiah. They
have approached respondent No.4 and filed an application on 14.12.2018 seeking mutation of their names in the revenue records. However, no action has been taken on the said application till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed. 5 .
On instructions, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the subject land is an assigned land. Pursuant to the application, dated 14.12.2018, of the petitioners, notices were ordered and enquiry is pending and as soon as possible, final orders would be passed.

An action is being taken on the application, dated 14.12.2018, of the petitioners. Under these circumstances, the respondent No.4/ Tahsildar, Marriguda Mandal, Nalgonda District, is directed to complete the enquiry, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations/ directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
