THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.13503 of 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused No.1 under Sections 437 & 439 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant bail to him in Crime No.416 2015 on the file of Karimnagar II Town Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Section 306 IPC and Sections 3, 5(a)&(b) of the A.P. (Telangana Area) Money Lenders Act. Heard and perused the material available on record. The wife of the deceased gave a report stating that the deceased borrowed the amount from the petitioner and even though he repaid huge amount, the petitioner insisted him to repay the entire amount immediately, and he also threatened the deceased and due to such harassment, the deceased committed suicide. It is alleged that the petitioner, who is working as ASI of Police, used his official position to commit the offence.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
