When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for respondents has submitted that the petitioners' services were already regularized, and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. Learned counsel for petitioners also does not dispute the same.

In view of the above, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
