Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that petitioners are the widows of the ex-servicemen, and after filing of the present writ petition, Government have taken a decision to allot 60 sq. yards of land to each of the petitioner, and not being satisfied with the same, petitioners are agitating in another W.P.No.26493 of 2009 for allotment of 120 sq.yards, as such the cause in the present writ petition does not survive. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, granting liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies in W.P.No.26493 of 2009. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
