Ramasubramanian) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents to receive his application for first phase of Online counselling for admission into Post Graduate Medical and Dental Course for the academic year 2019-20. 2.

On 18.04.2019, when the writ petition came up for orders as to admission, this Court passed the following interim order. "Mr. A. Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the University.

Since the petitioner has not even made an application, it is not possible for us to make any interim order for the forthcoming first phase of counsel scheduled to commence on 21.04.2019. However, the petitioner is permitted to approach the University on 22.04.2019 and submit a representation at least for permitting him to apply for admission in the second phase of counselling."

The interim order was given effect to. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication any more in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is closed. If the petitioner has secured admission pursuant to the interim order, the said admission is protected. If the petitioner could not secure admission, even under the category for which he sought admission, no further orders can be passed, as last date for admission is already over. Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
