In this Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/Accused seek quashment of the Proceedings in D.V.C.No.72 of 2012 on the file of Special Judicial First Class Magistrate at Kurnool( Prohibition and Excise), wherein they are charged for the offence under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of D.P. Act.

Today when the matter came up for hearing, Sri S.D. Gowd, learned Counsel for petitioners, submitted that the parties are not turning up to give instructions and hence, he is helpless in the matter and requested the Court to dismiss the petition. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this case, shall stand closed.
