HONOURABLE SRI ]USTICE SANJAY KUMAR CRIMINAL P NN OR R The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.17 of 2019 on the file of Balanagar Excise Police Station, which was registered under Section B(c) read with Section 20(bXiiXB) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. By way of this petition filed under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C., he seeks grant of regular bail. Perusal of the remand report reflects that the petitioner was allegedly found In possession of 1.690 kgs of dry ganja. The investigation is stated to be still ongoing. The petitioner has been in custody since 09.02.2019.

As the quantity allegedly apprehended from the possession of the petitioner/accused is less than the commercial quantity stipulated under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, this Court is of the opinion that he would be entitled to grant of bail on conditions. The Criminal Petition is accordingly allowed. The petitioner, the accused in Crime No.17 of 2019 on the file of Balanagar Excise Police Station, shall be released on bail upon his furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) along with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned XII Metropolitan Magistratg, Ranga Reddy District at I L.B.Nagar.

The petitioner/accused shall continue to cooperate with the investigation and deslst from offering any threat, inducement or promise to any witness or any other person connected with this case.
