THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.2669 of 2020 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in F.I.R.No.66 OF 2020 of Siddipet II TN Police Station, registered against the petitioner/accused No. 4 for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 327, 323, 504, 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code.

Heard Learned counsel for the petitioner.

As seen from the record, after filing the criminal petition, this Court was pleased to pass interim orders on 01.07.2020 directing the police not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted that the investigation is still pending. 4.

Considering the circumstances and facts of the case, this Court is of the opinion that this petition can be disposed of while giving direction to police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and file a final report. The petitioner is further directed to co-operate. The Police concerned is further directed to accept the

submissions of the petitioner/Accused No.4 during the course of investigation. With these observation this petition is disposed of. However, in case, if charge sheet is filed, the petitioner is given liberty, to challenge the said charge sheet in case if he so desires.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
