Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.
2. Petitioner had approached 2nd respondent by way of application on 21-03-2016 to permit to sell the land assigned to him. Petitioner contends that the assignment to him was made on payment basis and since his family debts need to be liquidated, he should be permitted to sell the said property.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that 2nd respondent will consider the said application and pass orders thereon within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to consider the said application and pass orders thereon within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
