The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to continuation of rowdy sheet No.1 of 1998 on the file of the 3rd respondent. On receipt of notice, a counter affidavit is filed by the Inspector of Police, Gannavaram Police Station, Viajayawada City, stating that the cases registered against the petitioner in S.C.No.185 of 1997 on the file of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, PRC No.11 of 2001 on the file of the VII Fast Track Court, Vijayawada and C.C.No.328 of 2004 on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Gannavaram, Vijayawada, ended in acquittal and the case in C.C.No.429 of 2004 on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Gannavaram, Vijayawada, ended in compromise.

It is further stated that if the petitioner submits a representation along with medical prescription before the competent authority, his rowdy sheet will be reviewed and decision will be taken as per law. While representing the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner has requested this court to issue necessary directions in the light of the said statement made by the Inspector of Police, Gannavaram Police Station, Viajayawada City. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make a representation before respondents 2 and 3 for review within one week from today. If any such application is filed, the same shall be considered by respondents 2 and 3 and appropriate action be taken in accordance with law, within two weeks thereafter. No order as to costs.
