Ramasubramanian) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents to permit her to participate in TS-PG Medical/ Dental Admission counselling under the Management Quota (Institutional) and Management Quota, NRI seats quota for the academic year 2019-20.

On 18.04.2019, when the writ petition came up for orders as to admission, this Court passed the following interim order. "Mr. A. Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the University.

The petitioner applied for admission to Post Graduate Dental Court under the management quota. Now she wants to switch over to NRI quota.

The respondents may examine whether the petitioner satisfy the criteria for applying under the NRI quota. If she satisfies the criteria, she may be treated as a candidate under NRI quota."

Thereafter, on 25.04.2019, this Court passed the following interim order.

"We passed an order on 18.04.2019 permitting the petitioner to approach the University for switching over to NRI quota. But, what the petitioner wants is to switch over to Management Quota (Institutional).

The respondents may examine whether the petitioner is eligible for Management Quota (Institutional). If she is eligible, she may be treated under that category.

Accordingly, this application is ordered."

The interim order was given effect to. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication any more in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is closed. If the petitioner has secured admission pursuant to the interim order, the said admission is protected. If the petitioner could not secure admission, even under the category for which she sought admission, no further orders can be passed, as last date for admission is already over. Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
