When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for Singareni Collieries submits that the petitioners filed this writ petition challenging the action of the respondents Nos.1 and 2 in placing them below respondents Nos.3 to 7 in the seniority list, and on 27.11.2003, this Court was pleased to grant interim suspension, and in view of the said interlocutory order, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition, and further, the cause in this writ petition would not survive as the petitioners attained the age of superannuation. 2.

Considering the above submission, this Court is of the view that the cause in this writ petition does not survive. 3.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
