This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's candidature for appointment under displaced persons quota in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.98, dated 15-04-1986 as arbitrary, illegal, unjust, contrary to the settled principles of law and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and sought consequential direction to the respondents to consider his candidature for any suitable post under displaced persons quota by including the petitioner's name in the seniority list.

Heard Smt. Nagavani Prassona, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-II, appearing for respondents.

The petitioner contends that his house and entire agricultural land were acquired by the respondents for the purpose of construction of Sriram Sagar Project, Pochampadu, during 1980 and the State Government has taken policy decision to provide employment to the displaced persons or their dependents vide G.O.Ms.No.98, dated 15-04-1986. He also submitted representation to the respondents on 07-04-2016, but the respondents have not

AKS,J W.P.No.8621 of 2019 considered the case of the petitioner for appointment in any suitable post in terms of the said G.O.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-II submits that respondents will consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 07-04-2016 within a period of four weeks.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 07-04-2016, submitted by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
