HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.17259 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings No.E2/785(4)/2003DY.CPM'C', dated 02.06.2003 issued by respondents, through which, respondentCorporation rejected the representation of petitioner with an observation that his request will be considered as and when vacancy at Zonal Stores, Kadapa is going to be filled up.

As seen from the record, petitioner earlier filed W.P.No.6420 of 2003, and basing on the direction given by this Court, impugned proceedings dated 02.06.2003 were passed. As seen form the record, petitioner was aged 52 years as on the date of filing of this writ petition, and by this date, he must have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. During course of hearing, advocate for petitioner submitted that the cause in this writ petition does not survive and has become infructuous. Considering the submission of advocate for petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
