CVNR,J & GSP,J W.P.No.6938 of 2018 ORDER : (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing respondent Nos.3 and 4 to produce the petitioner's husband, by name Joseph Fabian Francis Xavier (for short "the alleged detenu") before this Court and set him at liberty.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner is not present. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (T.S.), on instructions, submitted that respondent No.4 has registered FIR.No.40/2018 for the offences punishable under Section 420 IPC on 20.02.2018 and that in pursuance thereof, the alleged detenu was arrested on 01.03.2018 and produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody on 02.03.2018.

As the above submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home remained uncontroverted, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
