2018-03-09Challa Kodanda Ram2 pages

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.6934 of 2018 ORDER:

Petitioner asserts that pursuant to the notification, dated 18.01.2017, issued by the second respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntur, calling for applications for appointment of a dealer in respect of fair price shop No.14 of Tadepalli Village and Mandal, Guntur District, she applied for the same and thereafter, appeared for interview that was conducted on 10.11.2017. Her grievance is that so far, results of the selection process are neither intimated nor notified, and therefore, she filed the present Writ Petition seeking a Mandamus by way of issuing a direction to the respondents to announce the results of the selection process.

Having considered the nature of relief which the petitioner is seeking in the present Writ Petition, this Court in normal circumstances, would have dismissed the Writ Petition with exemplary costs for not availing the remedies available under the Right to Information Act, 2005, or approaching the authorities seeking information to that effect, but, by taking a lenient view, this Court disposes of the Writ Petition with the direction to the

CKR, J W.P.No.6934 of 2018 second respondent to put out the results of the selection process forthwith.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. _________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 9th MARCH, 2018.
