THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE DR JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER WRIT PETITION NO.22241 OF 1997 ORDER: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} As none appeared for the petitioner on 24.01.2017, the matter was directed to be listed "For Dismissal". Even today, when the Writ Petition is listed under the caption "For Dismissal", neither is the learned counsel for the petitioner present nor is there any representation on his behalf.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
