O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition was filed by a third party to O.A.No.6592 of 2010 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, which was dismissed along with a batch of cases by common order dated 30.09.2011.

It is now stated before us that W.P.Nos.32372 of 2011 and batch were filed against the very same common order and the validity of the orders passed by this Court therein was canvassed before the Supreme Court in Petitions for Special Leave to Appeal (C) Nos.22972 to 22985 of 2012. Therein, the Supreme Court passed order dated 29.11.2016 confirming that the cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility according to age was 01.07.2008 and the cut-off date for meeting the qualifications would be 13.04.2009. The Supreme Court also made it clear that the orders passed by this Court in the batch of cases would apply to the 16 vacancies in question and directed the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to complete the selection process for filling up the said vacancies within a time frame. Mallik, learned counsel for the petitioner, would state that in the light of the order passed by the Supreme Court referred to supra, this writ petition may be closed recording the cut-off dates confirmed by the Supreme Court and directing the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission to consider the candidature of the petitioner also for the aforementioned 16 vacancies which were required to be filled up within a time frame.

Sri C.Srinivasa Baba, learned counsel for the APPSC, concedes that in the light of the final order passed by the Supreme Court, the candidature of the petitioner would also have to be considered vis-àvis the 16 vacancies aforementioned. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission to consider the candidature of the petitioner also along with others in terms of the cut-off dates confirmed by the Supreme Court in relation to the 16 vacancies which are to be filled up in terms of the Supreme Court order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
