THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR criminal Petition No.2553 of 2O18 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in CC No.87 of 2017 on the file of the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, wherein the petitioners are arrayed as A. 1 to A.4. Today, the matter is listed under the caption 'infructuous matters' and when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, based on the e-courts case status report, would submit that after uncontested, the case was disposed of by the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, through order dated 12.02.2020, wherein the matter has resulted in acquittal of the accused and as such, the present quash petition filed does not need any further consideration by this court.
Having regard to the submissions made as above, no further orders need be passed in the present criminal petition' Accordingly, the criminal petition is closed' However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a petition seeking to reopen the matter, in the event the said CC has not been disposed of by the trial Court as noted above'
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
