.I and Crl.P.No.2202 of 2019 COMMON ORDER The criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.190 of 2017 on the file of the VII Additional District Judge-cum-Special Sessions Court for SCs & STs (POA) Act Cases, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, registered for the offences under Sections 326, 316, 498-A IPC and under Sections 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SCS & STs (POA) Amendment Act, 2015, against the petitioner/accused. 2.

I.A.No.2 of 2019 is filed under Section 320 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., by both parties seeking leave of this Court to compound the offences and to record compromise as the matter was settled out of the Court due to intervention of the elders. The petitioner/accused is mother-in-law of the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant. They filed a joint memo of compromise stating that they entered into compromise taking into consideration the age, health and financial condition of the petitioner/accused, and the 2nd respondent agreed to withdraw the case against the petitioner without any force, coercion, undue influence or pressure.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioner/accused are present and they are identified by their respective counsel. They filed xerox copies of their aadhar cards along with their photographs

before the Court. When this Court enquired, the 2nd respondent-defacto complainant and the petitioner/accused stated that they entered into compromise due to intervention of elders and they are living together.

4. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, I find that it is a fit case to grant leave to the parties to compound the offences and to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused.

5. In the result, I.A.No.2 of 2019 is ordered. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in S.C.No.190 of 2017 on the file of the VII Additional District Judge-cum-Special Sessions Court for SCs & STs (POA) Act Cases, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, are hereby quashed against the petitioner/accused.

6. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the criminal petition, shall stand closed.
