This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering and disposing of the representation of the Petitioner, dated 23-11-2016 to release the wages from 10-01-2011 to 17-01-2012 as bad in law and violative of principles of natural justice and sought consequential direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the said representation.

Heard Sri B.Sudhakar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri J.Srinivasa Rao, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner contends that his father was initially employed with the respondents and after his death, the petitioner was appointed on 10-03-1993 on compassionate grounds. Thereafter, the petitioner had to abstain from duties owing to ill-health and other various domestic problems. The respondents initiated disciplinary proceedings and later on, the petitioner was removed from service, after conducting detailed enquiry, on 04-12-2006. The petitioner has challenged the orders of removal by filing I.D.No.97 of 2007 on the file of Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court,

He further contends that during the pendency of the said I.D., the respondents have compromised with the petitioner in the Lok Adalat and the Lok Adalat has passed an award under Section 21 of the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 to the effect that the petitioner would be appointed afresh vide orders, dated 10-01-2011. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the award was passed by the Lok Adalat on 10-01-2011, the respondents have not complied with the said order immediately and after nearly one year i.e. on 17-01-2012, the respondents have appointed the petitioner afresh but the respondents have not paid the wages for the period from 10-01-2011 to 17-01-2012 on account of non-implementation of the award passed by the Lok Adalat. He also made a representation to the respondents on 23-11-2016 but the respondents are not considering the said representation.

Sri J.Srinivasa Rao, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents, submits that the respondents will consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on his representation dated 23-11-2016, within a period of eight weeks. 6.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 23-11-2016, submitted by the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
