This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in trying to dispossess the petitioner and auctioning the schedule land admeasuring Ac.4.24 cents situated in Survey No.120/2 at Nedikatla village of Korukonda mandal, East Godavari district despite the subsistence of lease in favour of the petitioner till 2019.

A counter affidavit is filed by the Temple stating that as per schedule, auction was conducted and the petitioner has become highest bidder for an amount of Rs.15,000/- p.m. per acre and a report was sent to the 2nd respondent for approval and the same is pending.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. Since the main relief is directed against the conduct of auction, all other issues remain open.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
