O R D E R

In this writ petition, petitioner is aggrieved by notice dated 6.10.2016 informing the date of his retirement from service as 31.1.2017.

When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the authorities have passed orders rejecting the claim of the petitioner for correction of clerical mistake in entering the date of birth in the service record. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner filed another writ petition in W.P.No.2110 of 2017 and the same is admitted and is pending consideration before this court.

Since orders are already passed rejecting the request of the petitioner for correction of entry of date of birth in service record and another writ petition has already been filed challenging the same, cause in the present writ petition does not survive and the same is dismissed at the stage of admission. No costs. It is made clear that all the issues sought to be agitated in this writ petition, are left open for the petitioner to agitate in the pending writ petition.
