Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Sri J.V.Ramana Rao, learned standing counsel for 4th respondent Pollution Control Board and with their consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.
2. This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the sixth respondent-Gram Panchayat in granting permission to 7th respondent to construct a poultry farm. The petitioner herein, an educational society, opposes such construction of poultry farm on various grounds and submitted representation dated 23.3.2015 to District Collector- second respondent herein. Since no action is taken thereon, the present writ petition is filed.
4. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to second respondent to dispose of pending representation expeditiously.
5. Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of directing second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 23.3.2015 and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to seventh respondent, pass appropriate orders as warranted under law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the decision to the parties. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
