ORDER
Challenging the inaction of the respondents in registering the complaint dated 15.11.2016 of the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed.
Learned Government Pleader for Home, based on written instructions, submits that records of the police were verified with regard to the complaint dated 15.11.2016, which revealed that no such complaint was received by the Chaitanyapuri Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate. However, on the complaint of one Uppala Venkatesh, Cr.No.631 of 2016 was registered against the petitioner on 15.11.2016, he was arrested on 25.11.2016 and was remanded to judicial custody. After completion of investigation, charge sheet was also filed against him before the Court concerned. In view of the said submission, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. However, it is open to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint, if he so chooses. It is needless to observe that as and when such complaint is received, the police shall take further action in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
