This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.94 of 2016 dated 2.5.2016 on the file of Manchal Police Station, Cyberabad, Rangareddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 420, 504, 506 read with 34 of I.P.C. Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

Specific allegations were made against the petitioner in the complaint. This is a matter, which requires investigation by the police. The truth or otherwise of the allegations can only be decided during course of investigation or trial. As per the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner the bail petition filed by the petitioner under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. was dismissed by the court of Additional Metropolitan and Sessions Judge, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar on 24.5.2016. I see no ground to scuttle the investigation at this stage and quash the first information report. In the facts and circumstances of the case and as requested by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the criminal petition is disposed of, directing the investigating agency to proceed with the investigation and the petitioner shall not be arrested for a period of one month from today.
