THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.2738 of 2020 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in C.C.No.165 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Miryalguda, registered for the offences under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code and Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, against the petitioner/accused No.2.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 03.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted a copy of e-Courts proceedings wherein it is mentioned that C.C.No.165 of 2018 has been ended in acquittal on 19.10.2022, after full-fledged trial.

The same is recorded.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been fulfilled, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications in this matter, if any, shall stand closed.
