THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CONTEMPT CASE No.1542 of 2017 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed by the petitioner under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, praying to punish the respondent for his willful disobedience of the orders of this Court passed in W.P.No.40017 of 2016, dated 21.11.2016. 2.

Heard both sides and perused the material available on record.

This Court disposed of the W.P.No.40017 of 2016, vide order, dated 21.11.2016. The operative portion of the said order reads as follows:

"Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioner on the basis of the bond executed by the petitioner on 04.11.2016 and the 3rd respondent is further directed not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioner and the 4th respondent. However, this order will not stand in the way of the 3rd respondent to register a case, if any complaint is lodged against the petitioner for cognizable offence."

It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents are harassing the petitioner and registered Crime No.109 of 2017, dated 14.02.2017, under Section 420 IPC and later added Section 417 IPC and remanded the petitioner to judicial custody and subsequently released the petitioner on bail. 5.

On perusal of the material available on record, it is seen that the facts and circumstances narrated by the petitioner

RE,J C.C.No.1542 of 2017 will not amount to contempt, as such this Court is of the view that there is nothing to proceed further in the contempt case. 6.

Hence, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
