THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 3079 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.2-Sub-Inspector of Police, Gannavaram Police Station, Krishna District in interfering with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner without following due process of law. Learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that one Venkata Subbamma lodged a complaint against the petitioner on 28.12.2016 and the same was entered in Reception Register. Thereafter, petitioner was not called to the Police Station. The allegation that respondent No.2 is harassing the petitioner by calling him to the Police Station was denied.

In view of the denial by the Police, this writ petition is closed by observing that the Police shall not harass and call the petitioner to the Police Station unnecessarily unless his presence is required for the purpose of investigation of any crime. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
