Petitioners' grievance is that 1st petitioner was employed as a Driver in the 1st respondent-Corporation, but he was retired on medical grounds with effect from 02.11.2016; that he applied for employment to the 2nd petitioner, who is his wife on compassionate grounds by making representations on 29.05.2017 and 07.07.2017 to the 2nd respondent, but the 2nd respondent has not taken any action thereon.

Sri A.Ravi Babu, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents states that the 2nd respondent will consider the said representations within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' representations dt.29.05.2017 and 07.07.2017 within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. 4.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
