HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.2624 of 2014 ORDER:
Sri K. Pradeep Reddy, learned counsel representing Sri Sujith Jaiswal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, represents that the matter has been settled out of Court by way of compromise and in fact the marriage between the petitioner and the 1st respondent herein has been dissolved by mutual consent in O.P.No.34 of 2018 dated 18.12.2018 on the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge at Jangaon, Warangal District.
A copy of the said order placed before this Court indicates that the petitioner agreed to pay an amount of Rs.18 lakhs to the 1st respondent towards permanent alimony and accordingly, he paid Rs.9 lakhs through demand draft bearing No.002729 dated 17.12.2018. As per the said understanding entered into between the petitioner and the 1st respondent herein, the learned Senior Civil Judge, Jangaon, Warangal District, by orders dated 18.12.2018 in O.P.No.34 of 2018 dissolved the marriage between the petitioner and the 1st respondent with effect from 18.12.2018 by mutual consent under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that subsequently the petitioner paid another sum of Rs.9 lakhs to the 1st respondent.
In view of the above said decree obtained by mutual consent, no further cause would survive in the present revision case. Accordingly, the criminal revision case is closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. ___________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 26.08.2019.
