This writ petition is filed for the following relief: - " This court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not considering the petitioner's representation dated 12-11-2016, requesting to process the petitioner's applications for grant of post matric scholarship, and not issuing the allotment letter in the academic years 2015-2016 to 2017-2018 vide applications Nos.21502806873, 201602806873 and 201702806873, as illegal and arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice, fair play apart from violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to sanction the scholarship by processing the petitioner's applications without influencing the G.O.Ms.No.66, dated 08-09-2010".
During the course of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this court that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner herein, the petitioner submitted a representation through 'on-line' to the respondent on 12-11-2016, but no action has been taken by the respondents and the grievance of the petitioner herein remains unaddressed.
Since the representation is pending consideration before the respondent-authorities, this court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent-authorities to verify the above said representation, dated 12-11-2016 sent by the petitioner herein through 'on-line' and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.
