This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the excise authorities in not restoring the petitioner's TFT licence dated 01.11.2007 in respect of Penna Nagar TFT-I toddy shop, Proddatur Mandal, Kadapa District, in the light of his acquittal in Special Sessions Case No.57 of 2009.

It is, however, noticed that the said TFT licence was only valid up to 30.09.2012 and the licence therefore expired by efflux of time. The question of restoring the said licence at this late stage therefore does not arise. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order

as to costs.
