HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT C.C.No.594 OF 2015 JUDGMENT:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned

Government Pleader for Roads and Buildings and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition.

The learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition, basing upon the written instructions received through communication No.A/129/2004 dated 14.08.2015, submits that the respondents, having received the compensation amount from the Roads and Buildings Department, will take all required steps for completion of process of acquisition, and pass an award and pay compensation to the petitioners within a period of three months from today. The copy of communication dated 14.08.2015 and the submission of the learned Government Pleader are placed on record.

The contempt case is closed. It is made clear that if, within the time stipulated above, as undertaken by the respondents, the 1st and 2nd respondents do not complete the process of acquisition and pay compensation to the petitioners herein, the petitioners are given liberty to seek restoration of the present contempt case, if they are so advised.
