THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD W.P.No. 8832 of 2019 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of respondents 2 to 4 in not restoring the electricity connection bearing S.No.H2000404, USC No.011125675 at premises No.3-2836 and 3-2-836/1, Kachiguda, Hyderabad. Heard and perused the material available on record. It is the case of the petitioner that the electricity connection in his premises was stolen away and thereafter, he took steps for restoration of the same. It is further stated that there are no arrears payable by the petitioner to the respondents. During the course of arguments, standing counsel represented that there is landlord and tenant dispute and moreover, the electricity department has already instructed the petitioner to file appropriate application enclosing the FIR copy and also demand draft.
Without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents with requisite formalities and the respondents shall consider the objections of the landlord, if any, in the light of the electricity rules and regulations and pass appropriate orders within one week from the date of receipt of application. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
