THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.21685 OF 2015 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "... to issue a Writ, Order, or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondent authorities in not considering the case of the petitioner for the post of Electrician Trainee Category-I notified under Employment Notification 2/15 issued by the 2nd respondent is illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the authorities to appoint the petitioner to the post of Electrical Trainee Category-I making it clear that the petitioner possesses requisite qualifications mentioned in the notification and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

This Court, by order, dated 15.07.2015, in W.P.M.P.No.27953 of 2015, directed the respondent authorities to issue hall ticket to the petitioner and permit him to write the examination.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Company produced a copy of the proceedings, dated 05.10.2015, informing the petitioner that he did not secure place in the selection list, as he obtained less marks in the written test as compared to the last selected candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe category.

Since the petitioner was considered but not selected, no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
