Sri Siddana Venkateshwara Rao v. The Government Of Andhra Pradesh, Rep. By Its Principal
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.6875 OF 2014
O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioners in this case was with regard to the inaction on the part of the police authorities in providing assistance to secure compliance with the injunction order dated 20.10.2008 passed in I.A.No.31 of 2008 in O.S.No.7 of 2008 on the file of the Special Assistant Agent to the Government-cum-Revenue Divisional Officer, Jangareddigudem.
No interim orders were granted by this Court at the time of admission of the writ petition on 10.03.2014. Ms. Puppala Lakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioners, is unable to state as to what is the present status of O.S.No.7 of 2008. In any event, if the interim injunction passed in the said suit has not been honoured till date, the party aggrieved thereby would have taken recourse to suitable remedies provided in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. The question of providing assistance through the police authorities for securing compliance with the interim injunction order in the said suit, even if it is subsisting, does not arise at this late stage.
On this short ground, the writ petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
