This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in trying to resume the land belonging to the petitioner situated in an extent of 999 sq.yds. bearing House No.4-321/273/1&273/2 and an extent of 965 sq.yds. bearing house No.432-1/272/1&272/2 in Survey No.92 of Kukatpally Village and Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district pursuant to an order dated 26.2.2018.

This Court noticed that the said order was passed under the provisions of Telangana Land Encroachment Act and there is a provision for appeal against the said order.

In view of the existence of right of appeal to the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition but grants liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal within a period of 30 days from today and in view of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to maintain status-quo for a period of 30 days. 4.

The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
