THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Writ Petition No.7239 of 2018 ORDER :

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Govt.Pleader for Fisheries on behalf of the official respondents 1 to 5 before ordering notice to the unofficial respondent No.6-Society and perused the prayer in the writ petition with supporting affidavit and the written instructions received by the learned Govt.Pleader for Fisheries supra. The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows:- " To issue order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not conducting elections to Respondent No.6-Society with 3657(old and new )members and trying to conduct elections to the Respondent No.6/ Society with 3657(old and new )members pending disposal of the Writ Petition and pass such other order or orders." The Written instructions the learned Govt.

Pleader for Fisheries read as follows:- " Since the similar situated matters are filed by various other members of the Society, Government has already decided to conduct the elections which consist of old and new members." It is the submission of the learned Govt. Pleader that pursuant to the Rules, there are old and new members in total 3657 in the Society of the 6th respondent and the official respondents are agreeing to conduct elections and all the above are eligible members with right of participation in the election by following due process of law and same is recorded. Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
