Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:
"to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or direction declaring the action of the 4th respondent in entering 'D' patta in 'E' pattadar pass books issued to the petitioners as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the 4th respondent to correct the entry at Column 6 of 'E' pattadar pass book and delete 'D' patta and enter purchase/pattadar." 3.
Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the Tahsildar, to dispose of the representation dated 15.10.2016 made by the 1st petitioner to the District Collector (R.2) seeking correction of entry in E-pass book in nature of right column. 4.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that he has no objection for the same provided the representation is still pending consideration.

Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent - Tahsildar, to dispose of
CPK,J WP_40099_2016 the representation dated 15.10.2016 made by the 1st petitioner, in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _______________________ JUSTI CE C.
