In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioner-accused No. 1 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 406 of 2012 on the file of the Court of Principal District Magistrate at Warangal, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 420, 423, 468 and 471 of IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 09-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, KUC Police Station, Warangal City, and submitted that the case was compromised before Lok Adalat on 01-11-2016 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 406 of 2012, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
