The Assignment dated 08.02.1975 is not disputed. The Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the petitioner as a matter of fact is not in possession, but to cancel the assignment as well, the respondents are under obligation to follow the procedure and will follow procedure in the case on hand. The statement is placed on record and the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents not to dispossess the petitioner or cancel the D-Form assignment without recourse to law. No order as to costs.
