Sri Amarnath Goud Thodupunuri, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that in the light of the developments after the institution of the writ petition and owing to efflux of time, the cause in this writ petition no longer survives for consideration on merits.

Recording the said statement, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
